Barcelona is the principle city of Catalonia, the autonomous area of Spain located in the northeast that enjoys a Mediterranean shore with beaches galore as well as providing winter sports fans lots to do in the Pyrenees during the winter.
Barcelona is well known for a considerable number of reasons; its design is legendary, mainly because of the masterpieces created by Antoni Gaudi, including the presently unfinished church Sagrada Familia. While in Barcelona the holiday maker bus is a must. While you will not learn anything much from the commentary, you do at least see a great deal of the best of the town – and that is without getting off the buses, which operate a hop on, hop off system.
That suggests you can everything in 24 hours if you want, and get to spend one or two hours at the sights you are really inquisitive about. And you need to go for a walk down the Ramblas for sure, while the port area was actually brought current in time for the Olympic Games and also worth a stroll.
