The reason why I would recommend creating a plan is because there are a lot of things that take place in Australia and especially Melbourne that you might want to take part in.
One of the reasons why you should plan your visit to Melbourne is because you should not miss the Melbourne Cup which is held on the first Tuesday of every November. Even if you are not a huge Thoroughbred fan this is a great even to take part in and it is one of the biggest horse races in the entire world. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity and as non fan of the sport I would recommend everybody does this at least once while they can.
Something else you need to understand about Melbourne is that it has 3 of the best zoos in the entire world. One of the biggest zoos is the Melbourne Zoo which has more than 300 different animals and species that you can view. If you want to try something a little different and have an experience that you will never forget then you can try the safari experience at the Werribee Zoo. If you are looking for a lot of fun then going to the Zoo’s in Melbourne is something that you must try because this is an experience that you will not get anywhere else in the world.
One other thing that you might enjoy is a hot air balloon right over the entire city. If you have ever wanted to see Melbourne from above then now is your chance. The hot air balloon ride is somewhat costlier than the other activities but when will you ever get to see the city from the air while not being in a fast moving airplane. There is a lot that you can do in Australia but there are not many places that offer hot air balloon rides throughout the year.
If you want to have the most fun then you need to make sure you plan your entire trip weeks in advance. Just know that the better your plan is and the more detailed it is, the more you will be able to do in a short amount of time. Again, if you are in Melbourne I highly recommend you see the Melbourne Cup that takes place on the first Tuesday of every November.
